Why and how to build your tech team in Poland

We believe that, if you provide IT-enabled services or products, there’s a great value in offshoring. Information technology is currently a seller's market, with salaries relatively high, in comparison to other industries. With the relocation, you can either get that same top talent for less (around 30% in Poland as compared to the US or Western Europe) or get better value (senior devs, rather than regulars) for the same money. On top of that, you get geographical diversification - if your production happens in 2 locations, then any disaster in one of them is mitigated by the other.

So, let's say you have about a dozen employees in London, of which 4 are programmers, one senior and three regular developers. Ballpark, your IT costs about £238k a year (£70k + 3 times £50k + £18k for office space). Now, duplicating that setup will require £135.6k(£42k + 3 times £29.7k + £4.6k respectively).
